. Senior Account Executive ---While not functionally different from an AE, promotion to this position is based on having developed and understanding of advertising fundamentals.
The challenge in this position is to not only handle the executional requirements of the job but to become more conceptual.
Setting your sites for accepting responsibility as an Account Manager, you need to demonstrate growing strength in strategic thinking, self-initiative, an ability to express a point of view as well as supporting it with facts and sound judgment.It is also important to demonstrate a maturity that says you can provide leadership and proper support to account executives that may be reporting to you.
