职位描述
As a Social Sub-Editor for TBWA China, you will be responsible for planning, conceptualizing, sub-editing, curating and producing social media content for our clients. You are a passionate storyteller familiar with the latest social media trends, and how to leverage different platforms and formats that help to bring a brand’s story to life.
You would have proven experience sub-editing and creating content for leading luxury travel/hospitality publishers. You would be intimately familiar with best practices and processes related to content, and how to leverage different platforms and formats to tell the best stories. You are also comfortable working closely with clients to brainstorm content ideas and angles, with a sharp and incisive POV.
Responsibilities
You will sub-edit content across platforms, including but not limited to Weibo, Wechat, Xiaohongshu, and more
Pitch new, innovative ideas and concepts for engaging content to our clients
Work closely with the content delivery team to ensure that the work delivered is of a high standard
Take ownership of content briefs, and deliver them together with the always-on content team
Own the content creation process - Be the guardian and champion of standards and processes involved in content creation
Propose and implement initiatives to increase content visibility and engagement aligned against business requirements
Track relevant data and team KPIs to inform content approach
Keep up to date with latest trends, technologies to inform content concepts and ideas
Requirements
You have proven experience sub-editing content within an agency, brand or online publication
Ability to write optimised, smart social copy
Ability to identify and apply emerging, on-brand trends to social content
Journalistic instincts for a story well-told
Excellent organisational skills
Willingness to be flexible and fluid in a demanding creative agency environment
Exceptional communication skills
Knowledge of various Digital and Social Media channels in China, enthusiasm for social media and internet culture
Experience across travel and hospitality is essential
You have some experience training others upon best practices and giving thoughtful feedback to content creators
Proficiency in written Mandarin must be exceptional, with a good level of fluency in written and spoken English
